Some facts about airlines and airfare companies.

1) JetBlue – Limits their free passenger meals mostly to potato chips, peanuts, and a cookie. Drinks are free too, so are refills. They recently gave away some tshirts during an event they were attending which had the slogan “it was never meant to fly” on top of a picture of a chicken.

Their plane is very comfortable, you also get satellite radio, and television in every seat. That is really great for flying because it can kill a lot of time. Every plane has wifi. Their prices are always fair too, so that doesn’t hurt.

2) Virgin America – Also has satellite radio, and television in every seat, and in my opinion is way more comfortable than JetBlue. You can order food and drinks right from the lcd screen in front of you, and you can also listen to music on demand, watch movies on demand, and play video games, all from your seat. Every plane has wifi. On top of that, their prices are also really good.

3) Delta – They are definitely catching up to JetBlue and Virgin, but have a long ways to go in terms of comfortably, and entertainment. Besides that though, they are a really great company, and it is always a pleasure to fly with them. They recently added wifi to all of their planes. And their prices are usually a little bit more than JetBlue or Virgin.

4) Orbitz – Always a pleasure ordering from them. Have personally never had a problem, although I have heard other people running into cancellations without being notified. They usually don’t charge you a lot extra, sometimes only $3.00 or so, but that’s just occasionally. They do however have an excellent search engine which will help you get started in finding your cheapest airfare really quickly.

5) Expedia – If I cant find it on Orbitz, I always look on this site, and I am never let down. They are really a life saver. They have a really good search in place to find you the best airfare tickets at the cheapest flight price.
